The Tech Awards: Technology Benefiting Humanity is one of the premier annual humanitarian awards programs in the world.

The award program by the Tech Museum of Innovation, honors 25 Laureates that each address the most critical issues facing our planet and its people by significantly improving the lives of people around the world in one of the five categories: education, equality, environment, economic development and health.

Named Microsoft 2008 Education Award Laureate GoNorth! was selected from among nominations representing 68 countries.
